Bioinformatics (BI) and Biomedical Engineering (BME):
The Master of Technology (M.Tech) programmes in Bioinformatics (BI) and Biomedical Analytics & Engineering (BAE) are four-semester programmes designed to address diverse career objectives in research, healthcare, and industry. These programmes are intended for candidates with backgrounds in biological sciences or physical and mathematical sciences. Applicants holding a Master’s degree in basic sciences (mathematics, physics, chemistry, or life sciences) or a Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Engineering, Medicine, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, or Veterinary Sciences are eligible to apply. Candidates must meet the minimum CPI requirement as per the admissions criteria and possess a valid GATE score; candidates appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree are also eligible.
Quantum Information Technologies (QIT):
The Master of Technology (M.Tech) programme in Quantum Information Technologies (QIT) is a four-semester programme aimed at preparing students for advanced research and high-technology industry roles. The programme is intended for candidates with academic backgrounds in physical sciences or mathematical sciences. Applicants holding a Master’s degree in basic sciences, with Physics and/or Mathematics as a core subject, or a Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Engineering in relevant allied disciplines are eligible to apply. Candidates must have obtained the minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) as prescribed in the admissions criteria and possess a valid GATE score; candidates appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree are also eligible to apply.
